Qatar urged to invest worth 22 billion USD in Gwadar & various government sectors of Pakistan

Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani will visit Pakistan on Sunday 23 June 2019 declared officially by Imran Khan via Instagram.

It’s another major breakthrough followed by the recent visits by crown prince Muhammad Bin Salman and UAE Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed as Pakistan seeks a helping hand.

According to the sources, new agreements will be signed between Qatar and Pakistan to invest in areas mapped out by PTI led government for implementations especially in Gwader.

 It’s one of the gigantic triumphs of foreign policy as it will strengthen the economic and strategic condition of Pakistan.  Briefing the media on occasion prime minister’s advisor on commerce Abdul Razzaq Dawood welcomed the delegation and declared that Pakistan is eager for a long-term strategic and economic relation with Qatar.

He also added that it is the borne fruit of PM Imran Khan’s visit to Qatar in January that resulted in this meeting. During the visit, the specific development project was discussed. He asserted that Qatari companies bear the big potential to supplement Pakistan china economic corridor (CPEC) projects and revolutionize the Gwadar industrial zone in Pakistan.

Federal minister for planning, development and reforms Makhdom Khusro Bakhtyar expressed his views in a meeting that Gwadar would emerge as a leading port for enhancing regional trade.

Khan revealed these views in a meeting with sheikh Mohammad Bin Abdul Rehman Al Thani, deputy prime minister and minister for foreign affairs of the state of Qatar. Besides meeting with Qatari leadership, Pakistani premier khan also met with the business community of Qatar.

Foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and former Finance minister Asad Umar visited Doha before Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to Qatar.

According to party leader of Awami Muslim League and minister of Pakistan railway, Sheikh Rashid declared emir’s visit as the giant news of the year.
