The Map of Gwadar has its own uniqueness in its own, lts hammerhead shaped peninsula forming two almost perfect, but naturally curved, semicircular bays on either side. If you have a look at Gwadar map, you would realize old city of Gwadar has sea on three sides (East, west and south). From North, it is connected to land (Pakistan). The map shows why Gwadar is going to be a leading port city in Asia. The area is surrounded by three sides of sea and is already under consumption of location population. That is why, Govt. of Pakistan is planning most of the civil society related developments on main land. In April 2015, Pakistan and China announced their intention to develop the $46 billion China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), which in turn forms part of China’s ambitious One Belt, One Road. Gwadar features heavily in CPEC, and is also envisaged to be the link between the One Belt, One Road and Maritime Silk Road project. $1.153 billion worth of infrastructure projects will be invested into the city as part of CPEC.
